Day 12 of the season was the worst so far. We saw two big groups of ducks and didn’t get a shot at any of them. We didn’t hear much shooting. It’s going to happen sooner than later. The hope is that it doesn’t happen often. The full moon is playing a big part in it. The ducks can feed at night and just sit on the big reservoirs and chill out. They don’t fly well in these conditions. That’s especially tough when there aren’t a lot of ducks to begin with.
Stay tuned. Maybe this little rain tonight will get them moving again and tomorrow will be a better day.
