We’ve settled in to a little pattern of hunting being a bit tough, but it’s still not bad. There are ducks around, and that’s a good thing. There still isn’t as much shooting as in previous weeks. We did kill a limit, but had to work for it and there are fewer folks hunting. We didn’t have any wind and not many good, windy days in sight according to the forecast.
That always helps to move the birds. A mix of birds here now, and we are hoping it picks up some. The temperatures will dip a bit and that will at least make it feel more like duck hunting.
