Here comes the last weekend of the 2022-23 duck season. It came fast and it is leaving fast. Get in your last shots at them this weekend, good or bad. But be safe either way. There are more seasons to come.
Friday we had more hunters than ducks, but that’s okay. We had a blast. As they say, a bad day hunting is better than a good day at work. The fields are still tough, unless you’ve got a spot that hasn’t been hunted. If you can find a secluded wooded spot this weekend, it might be your best bet. But don’t be discouraged. Two days to get lucky.
