Hunting today was better, but still not what it has been. This cold front blowing through Monday may bring in some more ducks. It should be in the low 40’s Tuesday morning.

We had a few good reports and hunters saw more ducks Monday. McGowan Brake did good as did several folks on Hwy. 15.  Mer Rouge hunts were apparently a little bit better as well.

You can’t ever tell what the weather fronts moving in will do this time of year, but we’ll know tomorrow! It’s not going to get as cold as originally thought, but still making a big change from being in the 70’s Monday.

The season closed in Arkansas Sunday and won’t reopen until Thursday for the second of three splits. Arkansas has a statewide season, unlike Louisiana with three different zones. Stay tuned. Be safe out there.
