Duck hunting continues to be tough. So tough that many have given up on it for the time being. One of the things that has kept hunters going to the fields is the geese. And while we’ve still got a lot of geese, they are getting decoy spread and call wary just like the ducks.
Several folks that had been getting easy limits on geese really had to work for them today.
The first split ends Sunday. Might be good timing to give the hunters and the few ducks that are around a break. Stay tuned.
