It’s a lucky thing that duck season is pretty long because it isn’t real good right now. There are some folks killing ducks and some that aren’t, but for most it’s slow. Duck and goose numbers are down and they are still scattered in all this water we’ve got.
We’ve got a real weather change coming tomorrow and my hope is that things will be better towards the end of the week. If you go tomorrow, check the weather. There may be some birds flying in between the rain showers. if not, Friday looks like it might be a good day. The key ingredient is ducks. They need to come on down and not waste too much time.
The good news is we are not even to the halfway point yet. It’s going to be better.
