We wait and wait on duck season to get here all year, working hard to get everything ready for the hunt. This year, the season got here, but we are still waiting — for the ducks.
It’s just been one of those years so far. Today’s report is just like yesterday’s. There are a pitiful few ducks down in our area so far this week. There are some ducks being killed in Arkansas, but reports of success are scattered at best. I have no explanation for it unless it is a combination of unseasonably warm weather combined with thousands of acres of early flooding all the way up and down the flyway.
