Another beautiful day to duck hunt. But somebody forget to tell the ducks. Some folks are killing, but it is a lot of work and they are mostly having to stay way past noon. A few ducks have settled in to some areas, but for most, it’s tough.
We hear mixed reports from almost everywhere, but most of the “mix” is slow, slow hunting. We are down to our last 18 days so if they are coming, it’s time. If not, it will be one of the worst years we’ve had in a long time. I wish we had better news to report, but we try to tell it like it is. That’s all we can do.
