Where are the ducks?
A few hunters scored some success today, according to reports we heard. A lot more people were hunting because of the holiday and may have kept them moving a bit. It was a great clear, windy morning. We still aren’t seeing ducks like we would expect. There are a few more geese in the region, too, but they are scattered. Most of the ducks just haven’t come this far south and those that have are finding thousands of acres of water and they are just scattered. Same old story.
If you’ve missed the last few reports, check back and you can see it’s pretty much the same across Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas.
We’ll try and keep you up on any improvements in duck populations. Time’s running out so we have to make the best of what we’ve got.
