If we had to pick one word to describe the last few days of duck hunting, it would be “average”. Could’ve been worse…could’ve been better!
Frankly, things were a bit slower than earlier in the week and even spots that had water seemed to have a little less shooting. Of course there are always those blinds that limit or near-limit every day. Those are balanced out by the ones that don’t get enough for a good gumbo.
We need water and we need some bright sunny days. We should get wind and sun a little bit this week, but the end of the week forecast looks a little bleak. Take a look:
