Wednesday might have been Hump Day, but we didn’t get over the hump with the ducks. It was a slow day for most and was as hit or miss as we’ve seen so far. Some got 12 to 14 ducks. Some got one or two. We are seeing a lot of spoonbills, too. There are a lot of teal and a few mallards and gadwalls. Even the specks have been tougher.
The weather is just brutal with little wind and no new water. We need some new fronts to blow ducks down or a strong south wind to bring some back. Other than that, it isn’t looking good the next few days.
Stay after them and keep it safe!
