Lots of folks were off Monday. The mail didn’t run. Things were kind of slow due to the Holiday. And that includes the ducks. They apparently took the day off, too. It’s more of the same for most of the area. Still a few hotspots a few ducks, but not many. Most folks are killing two, three,, four and maybe ZERO.
Even hunters in some of the best spots are struggling mightily. It’s just bad. The weather isn’t really cooperating either, but as always, we are optimistic. It likes like we have our best opportunity for a push of migrating ducks late this week when it’s going to get brutal Thursday through the weekend. Here’s an extended forecast look:
